Central City School recently held their first annual Awards Banquet in the school gym. After the dinner, school Superintendent Clifton Neudecker introduced the members of the board of education who were present Neudecker then presented certificates of award to the patrol boys, Eric Woolbright, Perry Marcum, Ernie Clifton, Randy Peoples and Rose Gibson.Miss Jane Smudriek, school librarian, presented certificates to the library aides, Lora Beasley, Dana Cagle, Theresa Dore-mire, Kaye Garnett, Gayla McCormick, and Robbyin Matthews.Harlan Hankins, “B“ squad coach, presented letters to the members of the “B squad basketball team They were Steve Geurin, Shelby Bundy, Dale Boozer, David Owens, Joe Parker, Joe Grasher, Tim Wallis, Paul Szatkowski, Jeff Jones, Scott Marcum, Scott Pawlisa. Greg Hensley, Mark Barrow, Korey Queen, Tom Cagle, George Szatkowski, and Kevin McClain, manager. Hankins also presented a trophy to Joe Parker for Best Free Throw.
