In their home they have always set aside Friday night as their “family night” when they have a special meal and put on a special program . . . entertainment and au-Theregirl in the family.Nearly every weekend thatthey could pull their father away from the office, they’dpack up the camper and go on a fishing trip somewhere. On one of their many family trips to Yellowstone Park, their father began singing a harmony part to “The Old Oaken Bucket.” Pretty soon Alan joined in with him and it sounded so much better than just a plain melody that they began experimenting with other songs . . . going finally to three-part singing.
