Lewis Now Associated With• i • . • .City Savings Loan Assn.*. %Ivey P. Lewis, for many years a resident of this city, is now associ-ated with the City Savings and Loan Corporation having assumed the duties of William L. Short, who recently resigned to enter the merchandizing business.Lewis is well known in Petersburg, the son of Mrs. W, L, Zimmer Sr. and the late James Rhodes Lewis of Birmingham, Ala.He was 'educated at Christchurch School, Virginia Episcopal High School and the University of Virginia. In 1939 he married Miss Caroline Plummer of this city and they have two daughters, Carol, age 15, and Dorcas, age 13. He is a. member of Christ and Grace Episcopal Church and was formerly associated with' the George P, Brasfield Company of Petersburg.
