The Scandinavian citizens of thiscity celebrated the seventy-eight anniversary of the independence of Norway and Sweden Tuesday. No especial services were held during the day, but a grand musical concert was given at Agnew’s hall in the evening by Prof. C. Fremstad, assisted by Miss Dora Nelson, a talented young violinist from Eau Claire. After the concert a dance took place in which all present joined, and the day wound up in a regular jolifica-tion.
