People's Party Resolution.The undersigned citizens of Thigpen District No. 1482 G. M., of Colquitt county, met at the court house iu said district on the evening of May Ttli to ditctss the political situation.M. S. Cheshire was called to the chair, who staled the object of the meeting, S. S. ilavs acted as secretary. Alter several enthusiastic speeches and much cheering, the Folio ving resolutions were oflered And unanimously adopted:Resolved 1st. That we, the undersigned citizens and voters of said district, do form ourselves into a People’s Party Club ; that we fully endorse the platiorm as formulated at St, Louis February 22nd, 181*2, by the Great Industrial Conference, and do hereby ask all voters friendly to therdorni movement to assemble themselves at the court house iu the town ot Moultrie by 11 o'clock a. m. nn the 1st day of June, 181*2, for the permanent organization of the people's party in said county, and elect delegates to district meeting, to be held iu Camilla June 8th, and for other purposes.[Signed.]J M li.ndelt, M S Cheshire,Jacob Shiver, H C King,II W Sellars, B F Haywood,\V L West, S J Culbreth,R J Culbreth, S Phillips,Dr. W V Norten, J W Walters,II D King, B F Marchaut,J 7.
