DRISCOLL -The eighth grade and their homeroom teacher, Mrs. Margaret Reioux and sponsors, Mrs. Gilbert Trevino, Mrs. Ralph Trevino, Mrs. Joe Canales, Mrs. Domingo Rodriguez, Mrs. Bidal Garcia, Mrs. Ricardo Rodriguez, Mrs. Billy Joe Meyers, Ray Herrera and bus driver Augustin Rivera made their annual field-trip to San Antonio and New Braunfels Mav 3.The group left Driscoll at 6 p.m. and were in San Antonio about 9 p.m. Their itinerary included the San Jose Mission, Hall of Horns, the Tower of the Americas, a trip through the Natural Bridge Caverns and Landa Park.Mrs. Nina Durham and Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Whiddon Jr. and Dan joined the group at the caverns and visited for about three hours. Mrs. Nelson Fayette, an aunt of Shirley and Raymond Dacier, joined them at the tower.The group arrived back in Driscoll about 11 p.m.
