AnnualStevensvilleParadeTwo Groups TJse Same Theme; Both Have Happy EndingBy ALICE KOCH Stevensville CorrespondentSTEVENSVILLE — Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs walked away with top honors at Sunday’s Stevensville Kiddies Parade. Also winning high praises was the weatherman, who was kind enough to allow the parade to he completed without rain.Two groups depicting Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs won top prizes among the 61 entries. The judges’ special award went to the Donna Drive Demons oi Stevensville.A group also portraying Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs won the trophy for best theme prize.Winner of the grand pi'izc and also the most unusual trophy were Sherrec and Michele Schultz, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth R. Schultz, of route 1, St. Joseph. Their entry was a small float acclaimed as Stevensvitle’s U.F.O.The Blossom land Cadets of St, Joseph were winners of the marching award.TROPHY WINNERSTrophy winners in each category were: Originality, Gloria Bozin ski, daughter of Mr. and , Mrs. Harry Rof.inski, route 1, Stevensville; prettiest, Julie and Linda Snyder, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Snyder, South Teakwood, Stevensville; funniest, John and Michael Vergnt, sons of the John Vcrgots, route 2, Stevensville, and Tele Ver-got, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Vergot, route 2, Stevensville.First through fifth place runners up in each category included:Theme: Julie Greiffendorf,Dave Bennett, Ted Nilz, Greg Pribyl, Bob, Sarah, Mark, Karen and Ellen Dale, Collcn Craig and Cheryl and Mike Johns.Originality: Ruth Lewis, Donald Dasse, Jerl Bruns, Lynn, Kim and Karen Pdkey, Scolt Seel, LuAnn Machurkh, Susan Schafer and Dale Davis.Prettiest: Joan, Linda, Dorothy and Nancy JVlcGra:h, Susan Beran, Laura Bisner, Lonna Neidlinger and Diana Dassc.Funniest: Billy Bartels, John Jakubs, Janet Jakubs, Gene Reisig and Jill and Jeff Davis.Unusual: Robert, Deborah,Eleanor, Steven.
