Harmon SUNDAY—9:30 a.m , Sunday-School Worship Service, 10-30 a.m.Mother-Daughter Banquet Warsaw United Methodist Women held their annual Mother-Daughter Banquet at the church.The Methodist men served 120 guests with a delicious casserole dinner.The welcome to daughters was. given by Mrs. Robert Wright, followed with the response to mother's by her daughter Amy Wright.Mrs. Gary Haines gave the invocation.Following the dinner the program was the kitchenette band which consisted of several ladies with a variety of instruments. They played four numbers.The gift of geraniums were given to the oldest mother, Bertha Beatty; the youngest mother. Christ! Cox: and the one coming the greatest distance, Evelyn Totten, and Myrtle Huff Flowers were also given to several whose number on program corresponded to numbers on table center pieces.Jackie Duncan and Patty Hartsock sang followed by a piano solo by Beth Griffith.The speaker Mrs. Harry Worster had for her topic. Nature Does K All. showing and narrating a film of some of her animals and beautiful country scenesThe next meeting will be held June 2. with Mrs. Robert Chase as hostess, and Mrs. John Anderson, program leader.Royal Homemakers Royal Homemakers Club held their* annual Mother-DaughterBanquet Friday night at the Dutch Run Church, with 29 presentA covered dish dinner was eaten, with the welcome given by Martha Young, and the table grace bv Helen Tarrh Following the dinner the following program was given, Devotionals taken from Pro. 31 bv Gladys Marlatt; readings by, Susie Hartsock. and Donna Rae Y'oung; a saxaphone solo, “Let There Be Peace on Earth, by Tracy Mercer; readings by Rebecca Rahn and Joyce Frazee: a poem. Mothers Day by Tracy Mercer; a vocal solo by Mary Lou Kent; a reading by Martha Young.The group also sang, with Lucille Fischer at the piano.Special flowers were received by the oldest mothers, Eva R*eese and Macei Rice; the youngest mother, Ann Mercer; the mothers with most children, Helen Tarrh and Donna Rae Y'oung, with five each; the mother with most daughters present, Martha Y'oung, with three: the grandmother with the most grandchildren and great grandchildren, Nell Lowery, with 17.All those present received flowers which were usedi astable centerpieces.Officers The following District Officers also attending the Warsaw Chapter 409 OES annual inspection. Bible study on IstahSenior Citizens Warsaw Senior Citizens met Tuesday afternoon at the Warsaw United Methodist Church, with 20 members answering roll call.The meeting was opened with group surging, followed by the Lords Prayer-The following program was presented, reading.
