Installation Held By Heights PTA■Zlt;yV-m:lt;yZ*Zlt;lt;lt;^#Mrs. Russell Flinn was in- nounced that the annual school won by Mrs. James Petroski’s stalled as president of the picnic will be held Saturday, first grade class.June 5, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. atWeirton Heights PTA at the final meeting for the 1970-71 school year.Other officers installed were Mrs. Harold Ferguson, vice president; Mrs. Gerald Robinson, secretary, and Mrs. Paul Rosnick, treasurer.The installation was conducted by Mrs. George Weekley, PTA past president.A past president’s pin was presented to Mrs. James Givens and a president’s pin was presented to Mrs. Flinn.Mrs. Givens presided for the business session and Mrs. James Berry was in charge of the devotional service.Reports were given by Mrs. Nick Zatezalo, Mrs. Flinn and Mrs. Edward Kobylarz.Mrs. Zatezalo and Mrs. Weekley were named as .representatives to the Hancock ■County Council of PTAs for the 1971-72 year.Mrs. Louis Salerno an-the FOP picnic grounds, Kings Creek. She noted that only Weirton Heights students with a parent permission slip will be admitted.It was announced by Mrs. George Vacheresse that the PTA Council’s banquet will be held May 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the Millsop Community Center.Mrs. Givens reported that State Delegate Ronald Wilson will present a West Virginia flag to the school. She also made a recommendation for the PTA to sponsor a Camp Fire Girls and Blue Birds group.Guest speaker for the meeting was Harry (Bud) Lewis of the Weirton Auto Association. He showed the film, “Emergencies in the Making,” and gave a talk on highway safety. Following his talk, a question and answer period was held.The attendance award wasCamp Fire NewsGROUP 10Members of the Blue Birds, Group 10, were presented with an American flag by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars at a meeting held in the home of the group’s leader, Mrs. Edward Cutone.The flag was presented to the group by Mrs. William McMillan, auxiliary president, and Mrs. Mary A. Burskey, auxiliary patriotic instructor.Members of the group are Mary Ann Brancazio, Tracy Bruno, Traci Cook, Tammy Lynn Cutone, Carol Darrah, Susan DeLaMater, Marie Foley, Donna Lee Fuhr, Regina Hudak, Patrice Lettieri, Sandra Little, Lori Ann Williams, Jonell Meador, Sandy Pacobit, Wendy Courtney and Joyce Whitehead.
