Last Monday being the sixty-sixth birthday of Mrs. Hannah Agler, her relatives and friends took occasion to celebrate it. As is usually the case at such parties it was a complete surprise to Mother Agler. There were seventy-eight persons present. Quite a bountiful dinner was served. Mother Agler received about eleven dollars’ worth of presents. She is very feeble and so badly crippled that she cannot walk nor stand without crutches. She scarcely ever gets awayfrom home and this expression of the good will of her neighbors was much appreciatedby her. ______
