Frauleiri Bertha Morena of the Royal opera at Munich, with whom the Metropolitan management has been negotiating for two years.has now signed for three months. Heinrich Knote of Munich has been reengaged to sing in the United States next season 40 times. Fraulein Hilda Schoeno of the Mann* helm Court theatre* has agreed to be~ come a permanent member of the Metropolitan company upon the expiration of her present contract at Mannheirp. Stage manager J. Goldberg of the El-herfeld City theatre has been engaged for the Metropolitan for a term of years.
