LYMAN NEWSLyman—Mrs. Glen Andrews was in Omaha Wednesday to meet her mother, Mrs. Harvey Creasejnan of McCook, Neb., who was i-n route to Washington, D. C., to spend Mother's day with another daughter . . Miss Lois Porter and Glen Knee took their school pupils to Massena last week. The children boarded the train there and were met in Cumberland by their teachers . . The Lasy Day club met Friday with Mrs. Art DeHappert for a social afternoon and contests. Mrs. DeHappert received a handkerchief from each club member. Three guests present were Mrs. Herman Klautach of Audubon, Mrs. Fannie Gibson and Mrs. H. L. Netts.Mrs. Everett Mueller was hostess at a pot luck luncheon to the Friday Fun club. The afternoon was spent in sewing and visiting.Mrs. H. L. Netts, Mrs. Lyman Netts and Mrs. Fannie Gibson shopped in Red Oak Friday . . Mrs. Tom McDermott visited a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Steffens, of Wiota . . Dick Bell gperit Thursday night with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Pelzer . . Rev. Harold Zoeller, pastor of St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed church, has been chosen speaker for the Massena high school baccalaureate services Sunday, May 15, at 8 p. m.
