Constable Sam Cooley of Faii'chance was a close second to Crawford when last heard from, ho then haying killed 125 dogs, but‘the number has likely Increased considerably since then.Crawford had a whole row of tremble Monday but he didn’t get scared. Out at Continental No. l, he shot a little yellow dog belonging to a Mrs. Lewis. Now, Mrs. Lewis got wrothy and telephoned in to the state police, and; It is understood, told them a man-had committed murder. State Constables Peck and McLaughlin went out to the scene, but all they saw was Crawford busy killing dogs, and so they came back to town. ', / !
