Havre Woman Elected To Leadership PostMRS. ALONZO HART WIGMrs. Alonzo Hartwig, Havre, has been elected chairman of Christian social relations by American Baptist Women at the group's 20th anniversary meeting In Minneapolis, Minn., May 12. She is also a member of the program board for the American Baptist Churches of the northwest, a region encompassing five states. She Is a member of the board of managers of the Big Sky area, Montana.In women's work, Mrs. Hartwig Is chairman of Christian social relation of Montana, Is past state president and has served in several other capacities. She is active In Church Women United, having held both state and local offices.She Is a member of First Baptist Church and is president of its advisory board, chairman of Christian social concerns and evangelism. She is also organist and choir director.Mrs. Hartwig is a graduate of Linfleld College and has studied at Minneapolis College of Music and the University of Montana. She is a former Instructor in music In public schools and at Northern Montana College. She gives private piano instruction.Mrs. Hart wig's husband is an Instrumental music teacher In the Chinook public schools. The Hart wigs have four children and two grandchildren.
