People who were waiting to go on, sat on the floor against the wall and drank Coke while they studied their scripts, or talked among themselves. Members of the singing and dancing chorus drifted in and out, friends dropped by for social visits, and con-fus on was supreme. It seemed impossible foranything to be accomplished.the stage cleared, and Jim Wenneker, who is \ ^ing King Arthur, delivered a soliloquy. Wi1 the first few words, the auditorium quieted.Th* hammering stopped, the conversationstihod, and the Cokes and scripts were put down^ A rr gic moment had occurred.
