Ouimby QuorumMeets May 1Quimby Quorum 4-H Hub held a meeling May 1 at the Quimby schoolhouse in the evening, with Nancy Smith presiding Twenty members and two leaders answered roll call with “A good tiling to remember when eating with others.”Karen Fassler demons t r a t e d •‘How to Mix and Prepare Muffins”; Linda Nelson. “How to Make a Centerpiece Using Fruits.” Magazine samples of settings were displayed. Linda also designed a waved fruit setting.“Mealtime Manners” was a talk given by Susan Bruner. She closed with a poem. “The Goops.” An illustrated talk on “How to plan | around a guide to good eating” was given by Tamra Stevenson who explained the seven basic flt;xxls and how to use them in the daily mealsMary Ann Glover spoke to the girls on “Steps in Preparing a Meal. Mrs. Doyle Simonsen con I eluded the program with her showing of slides of table settings.Lunch was served by Beverly ! and Karen Simonsen.
