Mr. and Mrs. Ansil D. Miller ReceiveSinFriends^on Golden Wedding AnniversaryAmid a beautifully symbolic jetting in which flowers of ytl» low and white formed the central theme, Mr. and Mrs. Ansil D. Miller held open house for their many friends on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary Wednesday night.Their lovely home at 509 Fem-ihaw avenue was filled with a rofusion of bouquets sent by ‘riends and relatives in honor of he occasion. Every room, includ-ng the sunroom where the gold-tt wedding gifts were on display, contained flowers appropriate for he; event—rgladioli, snapdragons, 'bses, carnations, ’ calla lilies and nixed flowers in pastel shades. I graceful fern with a stand was cmong the gifts.Before the fireplace, near vhich Mr. and Mrs. Miller, with heir son. Ansil D. Miller, Jr., tnd their daughter, Mrs. Harry Mil ward of Youngstown, Ohio, •eceived the congratulations of heir friends, was a huge ar-angement of calla lilies, flanked y standing vases containing lowers of yellow and white. Soft nusic was heard throughout the svening.Mrs. Miller was gowned in /iolet lace over taffeta, with dec-rative touches of panne velvet, vith which she wore gold slippers rnd an orchid corsage. Mrs. Mil-tvard wore powder blue lace with sparkling clips. Her corsage was of roses.Assist HostessIn the diningroom the centerpiece was composed of yellow roses, with four yellow tapers in w glass holders. After going to Richmond, he was employed by the Richmond Climax and in a few years became editor and owner of the paper. He was prominent in the Kentucky Press association and the Eighth District Publishers’ League, having been president of both organizations. D. Miller will observe their anniver sary. The two couples have lived together during nearly all their married lives.
