German Saengerblnd—The Cincio mti Colmnbutn sajs the anuul meeting of the (rer-nmn Saengerbund (Singers Association) vili be held in this city on the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 19th of June next in the Grove on Roas Hi .1.There are associations connected with the Saengerbund which are interesting to the American,ae well as the Gorman heart,for vifch the association is interwoven ideas of fibtrly, and w here can the standard of freedoir be raised and American sympathy be :ack 111r ? — The first signs of the revival of libera! po HI— on! ideas in Germany arc connected with his association. Iu that lack of despotic role, the people are not permitted to meet together for political or other discussions at their will, but the Saengerbund being a musical association, and the national feeling, habile, and insti icts of the German people being so ruucli in fi vor of music, even the despotic governments i{ the country did not dare suppress them.The Association gives every year a prize for a musical composition. The last wtia offered for a chorus for fmir voices, and was gfti led by Mr. Balatfca, of Milwaukee. It was a si rer goblet artistically ornamented. The p-izo chorus will be among the exorcises, and ilr Balatka will be the conductor during the meeting of the Association
