Lac du Bonnet has the beautiful scenery and appropriate cliffs and shoreline, while Hecla has accessibility and the right kind of lake bottom.The three main things the scouts are looking at now are depth of water, accessibility, and the state of the lake bottom.The lake in Lac du Bonnet is the right depth except that its bottom is too soft, said Terry Fisher from the local Chamber of Commerce.
