Movie crew will definitely be coming to Lac du Bonnet: ProducerBY AMANDA BOSMAWell, it sounds like Ogopogo is a go.Ogopogo -the dinosaur-like creature said to inhabit the Okanagan Lake in south-central British Columbia- will be coming to Lac du Bonnet this August to make a $25 million movie.We'll definitely be shooting in Lac du Bonnet. We're just not sure of the extent yet, said Kim Todd, a former executive producer at Credo Entertainment who will be overseeing the production.Todd said right now the company is trying to make a decision between here and%Hecla Island. Lac du Bonnet has the beautiful scenery and appropriate cliffs and shoreline, while Hecla has accessibility and the right kind of lake bottom.The three main things the scouts are looking at now are depth of water, accessibility, and the state of the lake bottom.The lake in Lac du Bonnet is the right depth except that its bottom is too soft, said Terry Fisher from the local Chamber of Commerce.
