Perkins SchoolPaper,, YearbookMost SuccessfulAmong new projects undertaken in the Perkins Junior High school this year, the school paper and yearbook, are proving among the most successful.The school paper, the Per-kiiites, has been circulated monthly among the nearly 1,200 pupils,, of Perkins schools during the year and included news of both school and community activities.Co-editors for this year have been students of the Junior High eighth grade, Peggy Lindsley and Karen Balconi with Barbara Ebert in charge of reporting. Linda Dunkle is art editor. Staff advisor for this publication is Bernard Palmer.The yearbook, the Pirateers,will be sold to students in late May. It includes the usual student and staff photographs and class articles. Miss Ann Millott is the faculty advisor and the student editor is Jessie Whitfieldof grade eight.On Wednesday, June 5, the Perkins Junior High school will have a graduation ceremony for eighth grade students who willenter the ninth grade at Perkins next year. • *Jack. Aldrich of the Perkins staff is general chairman who will be assisted by the Junior High student council in arranging the event, A sixth and seventh grade band group will provide the overture music.Miss Clali; St. Clair of the Perkins music staff will play the processional.
