W. H. Sanders Has Fiddled For 67 YearsW. II. SENDERSW. H. Sanders, who celebrated his 77th birthday April 26, holds as one of his most treasured possessions the 67-year old violin which belonged to his musician-fathor, who taught his son to play the instrument at the age of ten years. In earlier years Mr. Sanders swas much in demand with his violin at square dances, and with revival ofthis d* version his services may yet be in demand again.Son of Mr. and Mrs. William Harrison Henry Sanders, the Whites-boro man was born in Mississippi m 1871. With his parents, he came to Texas when he was seven years of age The family, who settled in Lamar County. Mr. Sanders cam • to Whitesboro in 1910 and engaged in farming until his retirement in 1931. With his wife, the former Miss Eula Richardson, who ho married Jan. 14, 1935, he now resides on Broadway street. He ha-, one adopted son. James Sanders, of Strawberry, Calif.
