T. Goe-born was oalled to the chair, and J. F. Blackburn was made Secretary pro tem.The Trustees transmitted the annual reports of the Financial Committee—Messrs. A. T. Gos-horn and H. O. C. Urner, on behalf of the Trustees, reported that seven vacancies had occurred by death during the past year in the list or shareholders. and which had been filled by the Trustees. as follows:Vice A. H. Bugher, deceased—Wm. Worthington.Vice John Church, deceased—M. E. Ingalls.N ice Thos. Gilpin, deceased—Thos. C. Gilpin.Vice Geo. W. McAlpin, deceased—Far! W. Bllnison.Vice Theo. Stanwood, deceased—James B. Stan-wood.Vice T. D. Lincoln, deceased—J. Ledyard Lincoln.Vice Nicholas Long worth, deceased—Nicholas Lnngworth.The report was received.Mr. Uruer submitted the following memorial Upon the death of Mr. Lincoln, which was ordered spread ou the records, and that a copy be sent to his family:“Mr. T. b. Lincoln died April 1, 1890.“Mr. Lincoln had served as a member of the Board of Trustees of this association from its organization In 1876 until the time of bis death, baring that period he had great interest iu the affairs of the association, and by bis attention to its busiuess, and the intelligence with which he advised und guided his associates iu the Board In all matters involving questions of law, he rendered valuable service to them and to the association.“Mr. Lincoln occupied so large a place In theImbllc aud private life of the city that his death ia» been the occasion of much deserved eulogy, aud of many expressions of the sense of loss sustained by the community through his death., Agreeing entirely with such expressions, appreciating fully the high character of the dead, and bearing earnest testimony to his constant faithfulness lu the discharge of all duties committed to his charge, mis association adopts aud places upon Its record this brief memorial to bis worth.”Chairman lt;.oshorn stated that two vacancies existed in the Board of Trustees which must he filled at this meeting. Pursuant to the rules the Trustees had temporarily tilled the vacancy of Mr. T. b. Lincoln by the electtou of wm. ■Worthington, and It now’ ..devolved upon the stock holders to elect a Trustee for the balance of the term of Mr. Lincoln, and also to elect a successor to H. C. Urner. whose terra has expired.Mr. Shillito nominated for the full term of ^eveu years Mr. 11. C. Urner, aud for the term explringiu 189d.Mr. Wm. Worthington.N’o further nom inations being made, on motion the rules were suspended,aud Mr. Wm. Gibson was instructed to cast the ballot of the Association for the gentlemen named, which having been done, they wfre declared duly elected for ••he terms designated.subsequent to tha adjournment of the stockholders the Trustees met and organized for the current year by the election of the following officers: Robert Mitchell, President; Henry C. Urner, Treasurer; J. F. Blackburn, Secretary.
