SKEETER BILL ROBBINS AND 1SS DOROTHY MORRELL TO BE AT RODEOfwo More Stars Notify Association That TheyJVill Be In Ukiah for Big Event^ The Ukiah Rodeo Association is in at the Paris, France rodeo in 1924.receipt of a letter from Skeeter Bill Robbins to the effect that he and Dorothy Morrell will be on hand for the big show. Skeet announces that he will enter the various contests and mentions particularly the steer roping and bulldogging. Skeeter Bill is one of the best known trick and fancy ropers in the business and will work one end of the grandstand and Buffalo Jones the othefC Skeet will be assisted by Dorothy Morrell and Buff by Rose Smith.At many of the shows Skeeter Bill runs what is known as the Skeeter Bill cowboy dance and he has made singular success of the venture. He states that he would like to put on a dance at Ukiah if same is feasible.Dorothy Morrell won the Canadian bucking horse contest championship and is a real star. She was featuredFrom present indications it looks as if the Ukiah rodeo will have all of the top hands in the business this year, as many are sending in their announcements of intention to be onhand. The fact that the Ukiah rodeo features as its strong point that all events are CONTEST and no Wild West stuff is to be seen at this show is meeting with universal approval. The best hands will be seen here striving to outdo each other in honest competition for the most liberal prizes and purses in the world. In order to win, a contestant has to beat his opponent, or, oftentimes, many opponents, who are the best to be had, and he has to do it in a decisive manner pleasing to, the judges. This makes Ukiah better than the best and we are satisfied with nothing less.
