Shubel Little returned Wednesday morning from a weeks’ stay at Ksnnett, Mo., where he was called on aocount of the serious illness of his father. Hit father is now nearing his 81at year and has been having bad health for wai time. He was considerrbly improved when Shube left him. Shube saya that oonntry there is at present covered with water and what land is in eight la occupied by snakes of the most poiaoa* ons nature. He was attacked by a small “cotton mouth” while there bat dispatched the reptile with an ax before it got at him.
