Two inventions were submitted by two pairs of Brownfield Oak Grove fifth grade students and one Meadow second grade student and all were selected as winners and attended an awards ceremony on April 22nd. Kayla Dawson (2nd from right, first picture) and Jaclyn Roberts (far right, first picture) won the Grand Prize, Best in Show and split a $1,000 prize. Josh Baca (far left, first picture) and Seth Swaringen (2nd from left, first picture ) split a $25 prize. The invention created by Jaclyn Roberts and Kayla Dawson is called the ‘Pedneurayaxis’ and is designed to cure paralysis and fractured nerves using laser beams. The invention created by Josh Baca and Seth Swaringen is called the ‘Analyze’ and is used to find harmful substances in food that you and your family may eat. This invention can tell you the amount of fat your meat contains to the beneficial nutrients in your food. They are shown with their Fifth Grade Instructor. Lou Lindsey. In the second photo.
