Rosemary attends the Markham school and is in the high fourth grade.Miss Virginia Lucas daughter 0' Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Lucas, wM rule as queen of the celebration She is a high freshman at the Hayward high school and Is 15 years old.Rosemary has us her maids of honor two of her cousins, Margaret Ann Cunha and Shirley Jane Vierra. Miss Lucas has chosen Miss Verna Dias and Miss Alice Alves as maids.Following a procession led by the American Legion band, con Veying the queen’s crown to tin I. D. E. S. chapel on C street, 1 dance will open the festivities May 14. A procession to All Saint! Catholic church, where a mass of Thanksgiving will be the open Jng event of Sunday. Later friends members nnd visitors will enjoj a visiting afternoon.The Becond dance will be held at the hall Monday evening. On the committee of. arrangements are P. Q. Leonard, V. Bernardo, M. S. Vlerra, John Sliva, John F. Amnrnl and M. F. Soares.Mothers of the lodg are naked to enter the children In the parade. The American Legion band will provide music.
