REV. A. TED GOODWIN BUSYThe First Christian church of San Bernardino, Calif., has had a rather remarkable development since the arrival of its new pastor, Rev. A. Ted Goodwin, former pastor of the First Christian church of Chehalis.The present builidng is not large enough to seat the crowds who come to the regular services. On April 20 j there were 500 in Sunday school, j In Reverend Goodwin’s men’s class there are 104 men. During the day there were 13 new members taken . into the church.Plans are already in progress to erect a $100,000 church building. The site has been purchased, and also the parsonage adjoining the site.Since Reverend Goodwin’s arrival in San Bernardino, he has been kept j busy making special addresses to • Rotary and other clubs of the city. He is the youngest resident minister in the state of California.He states he has not forgotten his Chehalis friends and wishes to be remembered to them.
