BI3ACHMONT, May 2—The hardwood floors and finishings of the Interior of the Revere yacht club’s new home have received their second coat of shellac, and the outside has had a generous application of bright yellow paint. The contractor and builder has turned the building over to the board of directors, and they will in turn transfer the house and furnishings to the club tn ahout two weeks. In the meantime the directors are preparing an appropriate program for the proper dedication of the premises.The clubhouse is the finest in town, built entirely of hardwood, the lower floor being given up to a committee room, kitchen, ladies’ and gentlemen’s \ toilets, and an assembly room, while the whole of the upper floor is a hail that i will comfortably seat 200 persons, and | will be used mostly for club socials and balls.The furniture, with the exception of the committee room, Is of oak, and a handsome new piano for the hull, range for the kitchen, and a orate of crockery for the pantry have been nut in.The committee room will have furniture of a more elaborate pattern, anda couch for the janitor, who will sleep there nights.Six square oak tables, highly polished, have been placed in the hall, and will be used for banquet purposes. When arranged In a row they extend the entire length of the room,A sliding door on the water side opens on 11) a piazza from the lower floor, which extends the entire width of the house, and is 12 feet deep. The pier, 100 feet in length, Is two feet lower than the piazza. Kroin the end of the tiler a flight of steps will be arranged, 6 feet wide, and reaching from the pier level to the sandy bottom below. A ladder will also be fastened to the side of the pier, which can lie used In rough weather without danger of staving the tenders.The upper hall opens on to a piazza similar to the one below, which commands a fine view of Winthrop, Grover's cliff, Broad sound, the Graves, Na-hant, Lvnn and Swampseott, while at night Minot’s light and the lights at Marblehead are plainly visible.
