Huron High Boys' Quartet Honored 1Huron High school's “Huron Boys* Quartet”, directed by Miss Margaret Williams/ Erie-co instructor of vocal music, was awarded the notable rating of ‘il” by Adjudicator Hoy Hiity, Bowling Grpen, during the recent vocal solo and ensemble competition of the North Central Ohio district contest at Fremont, It was the first time that a Huron quartet ever competed.Members of the quartet, who won the award by the rendition of the a eappella number, “Moving Along”, by Zamecnik, included Bill Basilone, top , tenor; Fred Hammond, second (lead) tenor; George Muehlhauser, baritone and Richard Payne, bass. All are undergraduates.Basilone, with Miss Williams as his accompanist, also enteredthe tenor solo competition and was awarded the II rating by adjudicator Miss Christine West of
