K tt KHave you ever heard of the Riverland Rascals7 Well folks, it’s a brand new outfit comprised ol kiddies from 6*15 years of age. 1 understand from old Riverland residents that years ago there wai a similar organization which gradually faded away, but today these young people have devoted lots of time and practice and have produced a six piece accordion band. In order to prove to us that this is no idle boast, they put on a concert and dance in Riverland hall on March 26, the program including sketches, songs and skits, together with the dance music which followed the entei tainment Personnel of the band is Arlene and Barry Nygren, Ronnie Lindgren, Joan Peterson. Mildred Bellm and Bryon Larson A Winnipeg entertainer, Rowley Nygren, rendered yeomen service in training and advice and all our Riverland friends assured me that this was cjuite a night.
