Mrs. Maria E. Saarinen.Vader, March 26.—Mrs. Maria Emelia Saarinen. 61, died at her home here Sunday night following a long illness. She was the widow of John Saarinen, prominent poultry farmer, who died about eighteen months ago. Mrs. Saarinen came from Finland in 1886 and had lived at Vader since 1905. She is survived by three sons, George, Orval and roiva of Vader; and a daughter, Elma Saarinen, a Vader school teacher. Funeral services will be held at Cat-termole’s parlors in Winlock Thursday. Rev. Levi Smith of Winlock and Rev. E. J. Hamalienen of Portland will officiate. Burial will be in the Little Falls cemetery at Vader.
