March 26.—(m—A joint senate-house conference committee probably will be the next stop for the giant appropriations bill which passed the senate yesterday after a record-setting filibuster.The measure, a senate version of a bill passed earlier by the house, calls for state spending of $1,500,000,000 during the next two years.The total is the largest in the history of Texas.NO PAY BOOSTSUnless the house accepts 1ho senate version, the measure must go into conference committee.The original house bill called for salary increases not included in the senate-approved version.
