Disney TrainStrikes Truck■ANAHEIM — One of Disneyland’s monorail trains was knocked out of commission Friday after it struck the top of a truck that had pulled too close to the monorail track in the Disneyland Hotel parking lot.No one was injured in the collision, which occurred at 2:15 p.m.Nearly 100 passengers were aboard the train, which stopped automatically after it struck the truck, said a Disneyland spokesman. It was stranded on the track for approximately 20 minutes before it could be towed into the Disneyland Hotel station.The spokesman said damage to the truck was “minimal.” He added that the train’s undercarriage was damaged, however, and the train had to be towed off the line for repairs. Monorail service was discontinued for nearly 90minutes.• — * -.........
