Pleasant Parties.Mr. and Mrs. Everett Wat tain, at their residence in the River bottom, four miles below the city, entertained quite a number of their relatives and friends by an old-time carpet rag sewing. The I day and evening found quite a turnout.Those present were: Charles Taylor andwife, Isaac Lemmon and wife, Charles F. Benue, wife and daughter Rena, Frank j Holmes and wife, P. A. Smith and wife1 IRobert Norton and wife, Julius Hublar and wife. Mrs. Elizabeth Himes and sons, John Daubney and wife, Sylves-I ter Hublar and wife, Charles Bailey and I wife, Noah Himes, Miss Grace Williams, of New Albany, Lee Himes, Henry Hublar and wife, Miss Mary Winn, Miss Florence Smith, Dimmick Winn, Mias Blanche Cooper, John Wattam and Theo. Himes, tiixty pounds of rags were aewed.
