There were 14 present.Mrs. Elizabeth Hayne’s daughter from Greencastle, Margaret Foxx visited and had lunch with her recently.Forest Smith took his mother to dinner Wednesday evening.Marilyn Tucker, Lloy Gillcott and Aberta Harpold drove to Princeton, Ind., to see Alberta’s mother, Mrs. Glenn Ehrlieh and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Smith.Guests of Elizabeth Haynes Sunday were her daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Mace and daughter.Mrs. Fannie Best of Reelsville was the guest of Belle Fisher Wednesday afternoon.Harry Morman’s son from Staunton called on his mother, Pearl Early, Wednesday evening.Mrs. Flora Tribble and Flora Tiffee visited an old friend. Georgia Watler, Sunday afternoon.Elizabeth Haynes’ sister and brother, Mr. and Mrs. William Marcus from Muncie were guests over the weekend at Cooper Towers.Many thanks to Pierce Orchard for the nice apples and thanks to Joe Wilson for delivering them to us. Joe is Mary’s nephew.Lloy Gilbreath was the overnight guest Thursday of AlbertaHarpold. They attended church services at the First ChristianChurch Thursday evening.Thanks to Fckrich Company for providing the film and to Sargent Malone for showing it. It wasenjoyed by all.Hugh Downs was again the narrator for the films from Fckrich on Taming the Wild Cat Mississippi. This film showed the duties of the Army engineers who must contain and control the wildcat Mississippi river and mountain waterway experiment station.The next stop is Natchez, Miss., where the crew learns about the under the hill section, former hang out for the 'gamblers and cutthroats during the days of flat boats. By contrast they discover that Natchez above the hill at the same time is one of beauty and splendor.The fourth and last cruise of theMississippi the crew visited the marshes and swamps and bayous of the Louisiana Delta.
