H. A. Hanson officiating nt the double ring ceremony before an altar arranged with bouquets of white mums gladioli and fern.Miss Filip is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Filip of Cuero, and the parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Envin H. Schendel of Runge.Mrs. Arnold Schendel o f New Braunfels, soloist, sang Entreat Me Not to Leave Thee” and The Lord’s Prayer. Organist was Mrs. C. W. Marquis of Cuero.Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a traditional gown of bridal sat i n fashioned with a square neckline. long sleeves tapering at the wrists and an A-line skirt. The gown was enhanced with embroidered sacd pearls. She carried a bouquet of white carnations encircling a white orchid.Miss Carolyn Filip of Cuero, sister of the bride, wao maid of honor, and Misses Margie Nolte of Westhoff, Wanda Lin-cke of Westhoff and Janet Ma-chicck of Austn were brides-fromRYAN’SFLOWER SHOP 1M N. Gonzales CR 5 SS26maids. They wore royal blue crcpe dresses featuring A-llnc skirts. Each carried nosegays of blue carnations accent e d with yellow net and satin streamers.Miss Sandra Blank of Cuero, the bride's niece, was flower' girl, and Thomas Spellman of La Vernia, cousin of the groom, ring bearer.Joe Michael Sheppard o f Bridgeport seved as best man. Lyle Schendel of Runge, a brother of the groom, Clarence Opiela of San Antonio and Fred Steves of Kingsville, cousin of the groom, were groomsmen.Ushers included Carrol Blank of Cuero, brother-in-law of the bride, Daniel Filip of Gonzales, brother . of the bride, and James and Charles Schendel of Runge. Parker Schendel, also of Runge, served as acolyte.For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Filip chose a turquoise crepe dress with a pink orchid corsage. The bridegroom’s mother was attired in a pink crepe dress accented with a blue orchid corsage.A reception was given by the bride’s parents in St. Marks Fellowship Hall immediate 1 y following the wedding.For travel, the bride chose a lime green A-line dress.
