On the 15 the teachers attended a workshop in Winner so students enjoyed another day off from school. Mr and Mrs. Milton Sills of Colome and Mr. and Mrs. Benny Mills of Carter.The Carter Chix Extension Club met Thursday at the Keith Snethen home. Thirteen members and several children were present. Roll call was material for decorating stationary. Mrs. LeRoy Totton gave a report on low cal and low cost meals and passed out receipts. A book was also given to each member on house plants. Members worked together and made several dozen sheets of stationary. Mrs. Snethen served dessert and coffee. A number of Peanut Pal gifts were passed out.Mr. and Mrs .1 M.
