Their father is a real estate and insurance man. But, he says, “We love music. My wife and I are both choir directors, and we must havepassed our musical interest on to the boys.“We did not push them into the business, t h o u g h, he adds. “It was their own idea.” The present members of the Osmond act, Alan, 15; Wayne, 13; Merrill, 11; Jay, 9. and Donny, 7, are not the only performers in the family. Two older brothers are now professional dancers and a sister, Marie, has also appeared on television.New Member?One more Osmond may join his brothers soon. Frank Morrison.After the Travel Show ends Sunday, the boys will head back to Los angeles, where they just came from, to do some more recording.
