TKE, champion of the fraternity league via a 46-27 win over AKL last week, will be going against the Brown League champ while the Gold league champ will be meeting the Yellow League titlest in the other first round contests.In last Thursday night's play Circle K beat Loose and Easy 58-39 while P.E. Majors beat Pershing Rifles 63-38.The winner of the Fraternity minor league will have a bye until the championship game while first round winners of the Red-Green, Greek-Brown contests will be meeting each other in second round play.The winner of the Gold League-Yellow League tilt will go against the winner of that second round contest with the winner ofthat game heading for a collision with the Minor league champ onMonday night, March 23.The championship contest willbe at 4:00 p.m. in the Main Gym.Free throw compitition will be held at half time of the championship to decide the Intramural champion in thatcatagory.Bob Geske of Kappa Sig will go against Tom Alfaro for the Mens title while Julie Gomez andMary Carrillo, both of Sourgrapes will vie for the womens title.In womens action Sourgrapes of the womans basketball league will go up against the winner of the Panhellenic League.Twenty seven contestants have signed up for the first annual Intramural Chess tournamentthat will get under way tonight at 6 p.m. in the Recreation Room.
