St. Paul's has potlucksupperSt Paul’s United Methodist Church held its annual All-Church Charge Conference and potluck supper Sunday. St Paul’s membership has grown during the past year, making this the largest annual meeting in several y?arsThe new church officers, and committee and commission members were elected Stepping down as chairman of the administrative board, Barry Fitch will succeed Mrs Eleanor Gillen as lay leader Others named were: Willard Nettles, chairman, and Cmdr Dennis McCoy, vice chairman of the administrative board; Doris McCall Robert Zoehfeld and Arthur Bradley, board of trustees ; Gary Tryzbiak, head of the staff-parish relations committeeAlso, McCoy, chairman; Dr and Mrs. Nettles, treasurers; and Mrs. Jan Barrows and Mrs Penny Fitch, financial secretaries of the finance committee.Renewed emphasis will be placed on St. Paul’s Church School this year through the institution of a Christian education commission, which will beheaded by Robert Zoehfeld Co-chairmen of last vear’s church schoolvcommittee, Mrs. Bertha Williams and Mrs. Bea Allen, will be among the members helping to form the new group.Other committee leaders include Jan Palmer, worship and membership , and Mrs Joan Lindeman and the Rev Wesley Stinson, social concerns and missions. Mr Stinson will continue his work in prison reform, and Mrs. Lindeman will be directing the church’s work for world hunger.
