Spear, of Worthington, will preach in the Baplisit Church, next Sunday morning and evening, that being hia regular monthly appointment.Mr. Andrew Smith and son Irvin, of this place, wete called to Worth* ington, last Wednesday morning, to attend the funeral of their non and brother, George.We ore informed that the Christian denomination have decided to build their church at Coal City, and work on the foundation will begin just us soon as the mud settles.Mr. John Roth, who recently moved from this place lo Terre Haute, will movo bock here this spring. lie has accepted a situation as foreman at the new hoo p factory.Rev. Spears, of Clny City, will preach in the M. E. Church, Friday night. Quarterly meeting begins Saturday morning, and continues over Sunday. The Elder will be present.Mrs. Mort Rcnham, Mrs. Ida Ai-kens and little daughter Cracie, went to Clay City on the afternoon train lust Saturday to spend Sunday with relatives antf • friends. Mort counted the railroad ties to und from Clay City, Sunday.The singers who attend the Sunday afternoon singings in the M. K. Church, at the close of the Sunday-school enjov a very pleasent and profitable time. They have learned aevoral new song*. Miss Gracie Fetroe ia the organist.
