Troy Fire Department Extinguishes Auto BlazeThe Troy Fire Department was■called to Heck's corner Friday afternoon to extinguish the blaze the automobile of K. C. Kimberlin.Mrs* Kimberlin was driving home in the auto, a 1930 Kaiser, when the vehicle became inflamed. The engine died' and Mrs. Kimberlin escaped unhurt. • v;The hose between the Radiator and the radiator burst, causing alcohol to spray on the engine. The spark plugs ignited the alcohol, which burns with intense heat.The fan blew the fire and heat back over the engine. The fire followed the wires and together with the heat, caused extevaive damage to the dashboard. Tiie windshield was cracked and the hood waskscorched.Damage was estimated over $100.
