FOUNDERS CIRCLE MEETSWITH MRS. RINGLING]The Founders circle of the Saraisota Garden club met at the homeof Mrs. Charles Ringling yesterdayafternoon with a large number ofthe members present. Mrs. John1Ringling, the president, conductedthe meeting. During the businesst session it was decided to assist theIIcity schools with their planting and i cbeautifying. The circle alsoplanned to plant the entrance toSarasota at the point of the trail 1where Indian Beach road crosses 1it, and to landscape that spot in a i beautiful manner. i tMrs. William G. Selby gave apaper on hedges and lawns. Shemade many helpful suggestions forhardy hedges among them syringeacherry, turk’s cap, pittosporum,iIlygustrum and Australian pine.She also advised that tankage,bone meal, or some other fertilizerbe used on lawns after the ItaliantItrye had died out and gave it as tAugustinewas greener than Bermuda for thespring planting.Mrs. Screven Bond led the botanytclass. Mrs. Charles Ringling exhibited garden implements and ex-IIplained their use. Tea was servedby the hostess at the close of themeeting.The members present were Mes-vCdames Screven Bond, John Burket,Owen Burns, Fred de Canizares, J.C. Cousins, A. E.
