From a copy of the Cheyenne, Wyoming Daily Leader it appears that J. F. Crawford, formerly of this county but who went to Saratoga, Wyoming, thirteen .years ago, has struck a streak of luck. Saratoga is the nearest town to Gold Hill, a mining camp which is just now attracting many to its borders, and is a famous health resort of that section. Mr. Crawford, who, by the way, is a son-in-law of Daniel Flynn, of near this city, went there broken in health and with almost nothing in his purse, but now has two 160 acre tracts, well located, upon which are hot water springs and lie proposes to erect suitable accommodations for baths, which will pay exceedingly well. From all accounts there is a regular exodus to the Gold Hill mining region and as Mr. Crawford, who is an attorney, is in the land business he is able to reap all advantage from a boom.
