D. Sills.Mrs. 1. S. Spence, Miss Susie Singletary land little Miss Charlie Cardin attended two millinery openings in Thomasvillo Tuesday.Misses ivy Mae Thonrpson and Net a Groover and Mrs. E. L. Groover and son Emmett have returned after a pleasant visit to relatives and friends in Grand Ridge, Fla.Miss Edna Brooks who is teaching school at the Heald School House, visited her parents Saturday and Sunday.Mrs. W. S .Bullock returned Monday night after an extended visit to her daughter Mrs. Buntin of Al-Kn.Work on the. new stores of Sills and Groover is progressing rap idly and it will not be long before another part of the burned district will be rebuilt. Toe postoffi-ce will be in one of these and it will be enlarged to suit the growing demands of the office.Since my last, Mr. Johnson and his saw mill crew have arrived and are erecting the mill on a site near Mr. Groover’s in the southern part of town. The*, coming of these gentlemen with tfieir families will add to the population of Ochlochnee.We extend to them a w’elcome. to our town and a special invitation to the churches and Sunday Schools.Mr. Fred Singletary and Mrs. Tressie Singletary went to Cairo Thursday last on businessMrs. Leta Stephens and Miss Berate Winters were shopping in Thom asville Saturday.Mr. and Mrs. diarlie Cross oi Pasco visited Mrs. Busbee at De-kle's Mill recently.Mr. Paul Searcy of Meigs visited relatives and a “friend” in Ochlochnee Sunday .Several young men went to the rfver cat-fishing Monday night and •one of them caught a rattle sanke (?)
