Around Mr. Kvarts tintne(aaatsuccess of the plav binged and in thedouble role of Venner and KingPrHector, he did some very clever I p work, making the characters as near! j;as possible separate and distinct. In |voice, action and dignity of car- * nrige, Mr. Evarts appears every inchthe part he assumed and his readingof the lines was ingenius and original, which he does without effort orany particular stage effect. In thechange of costumes from one character to another. Mr. Kvarts didsome lightning work, for he woulda4 • 1nos:barely leave the stage in one eusCitume before he would appear froma1another side in an entire change.Evidently he dressed on the run Land had somebody to help him. aMr. Kvart was ably supported byWill T. Chatlerdon as Count Saxen- sdorf. Harry E. Millarde as Baron | d Stanbach, John Osgood as CaptainCiBrunner. Miss Hora Mae Haven, I eas the Princess Olivia, gave the fpart a beautiful interpretation, andwith her handsome face and ligureshe was very popular with the audience.
