Pioneer LeavesFarm Oil FieldEditor’s note: This is another in a series of articles about senior citizens in the community. They have been compiled by members of the Farmington Junior Woman’s Club and will appear regularly in the Daily Times.A pioneer resident who once farmed the land now occupied by the B-Square Ranch, Joe T, Ketlenaers came to Farmington in 1906.Now 68, Kellenaers hasretired from both farming and Continental Oil Co., which included a two-year stint at the Rattlesnake plant. He resides at 2601 Park Place.Born in Uniontown, Ky., Kellenaers was brought to Farmington as a baby when his father. Charles, a native of Holland, moved west for his health.They settled on the land which is now the B-Square Ranch and with an uncle, Sam Lancaster, Kellenaers continued to farm the land until it was sold to former Gov.
