AMERICAN RED• F.BENEFIT TO BE GIVEN BYAMERICAN WOMEN.f That a big benefit entertainmentin aid of the American Red Gross will be given in May or early June was the decision reached by the American Woman’s Club in session at the Palace Hotel on Tuesday, Mrs. Lobingier presiding; A anmlI committee is to be appointed, to report to a larger working committee yet to be named; but beyond this no definite steps weretaken. •The tea hostesses at Tuesday** meeting were Mrs. Seaman - and Mrs. Houghton, assisted by Mrs. Clapp, Miss Crissman, Mrs. Kilgore, Mrs. Luke, Miss Morrison, Mrs. Robertson, Mrs. Sanford; Mrs. Sheldon and; Miss Sweet, all ladies of the Harvard Medical and Nan-*jiang colleges. For entertainmentMiss Waite sang “Ring Out Wild Bells” and Massanet’s Elegy withviolin obligato by Mrs. Morse, this new singer’s cultivated soprano delighting the large attendance.
