NEGRO BAND TO PLAY HERE THURSDAY NIGHT^ ISelections by the Jimmie Lunce-ford glee club and the Lunceford trio will be featured when the famous 15-piece Negro hand plays for a dance Thursday night at Memorial hall under auspices of radio station WMBH.Entertainers include Sy -Oliver, I Willie Smith and Eddie Tompkins, and dancers also will have an opportunity to hear such tunes as Cheatin' on Me and Well, All Bight Then played in the inimitable L-unceford manner.Dancing will continue from 9 p, m. until l a. m. Admission will be $1 for each person, plus tax, with seats in the balcony to sell for 25 cents, each, plus tax.
