READING - Willard C. Lamb will be honored for his retirement ®t an open house this Sunday, March 11 at the Osseo Town Hall from 3 to 5 pjm.Lamb and his wife, the former Helen Lucille Adams were married May 20, 1933, reside at 2385 Ginger Hill Drive.The retirement party will be given by their children. They are Jauretta L. Dale of Stevensville; Jeanette M. Simons, Quincy; Willard W., the mayor of Hudson and Brenda J. Pease of Pittsford.Sixteen grandchildren will honor their grandfather at thecelebration.Lamb has worked at HillsdaleCollege as a painter and custodian; at Allied Products Plant No. 3 (Richard Brothers)during World War II; and was the aexton of Hillsdale’s Oak Grove Cemetery from 1948 to 1960.He served as custodian and maintenance man at Hillsdale High School for nine years and then served in the same position *t Jonesville High School. His retirement date was Dec. 13, 1972.Mr. and Mrs. Lamb have recently returned from a month’s visit in Tucson, Ariz. where they visited his sister, Mrs. Frank (Lillian) Strasburg. The trip also involved a visit with relatives andfriends in California.Retirement plans call for fishing, gardening and travel.
